APPLY FOR ASSISTANCE
Financial assistance from Spay It Forward is limited to the cost of spay and neuter of pets for low- or fixed-income households who can demonstrate need based upon income and household stats. Financial assistance is also available for persons managing (feeding) feral cat colonies. Households determined eligible do not receive a check. All payments for spay and neuter services are made directly to the veterinarian clinic, which is selected by Spay It Forward. Spay It Forward is solely a funding organization. We do not provide trapping, transporting or surgical services.
A completed application MUST INCLUDE proof of need (i.e. copies of current benefit letters from DSS, SSA, VA etc.) and/or the previous year’s income tax return or other proof of income. Copies of EBT or Medicaid cards will not be accepted as proof of benefit. Failure to provide required proof of eligibility will delay the application process.
